St Paul writing to the Ephesians Agape Bible Study
The Letter to the Ephesians

From his lodgings under "house arrest" in Rome, St. Paul taught the Christians of the Church in Rome and wrote letters to communities he had founded on his missionary journeys to Asia Minor and Greece. St. Paul's Epistle to the Christians of Ephesus is one of those letters. It has been praised by Biblical scholars down through the centuries as one of the most expressive and carefully written presentations of Christology (the theology of Christ) in the New Testament. In his letter, St. Paul calls on all Christians to use their divine gifts and spiritual resources to increase their faith, to perfect their behavior as those who profess belief in Jesus as their exalted Lord, and to live as true disciples of Jesus Christ, the Risen Savior.
