The Book of Joel
When a swarm of destructive locusts struck the Southern Kingdom of Judah, Joel was called to proclaim God's message that the plague of locusts was a foreshadowing of the coming Day of Yahweh. He warned the people of approaching divine judgment and called them to repent their sins and turn back to God. He promised that conversion and repentance would be followed by God's glorious future triumph in a Day of Salvation. References for the course are found in the Course Bibliography.
